Abstract

The document presents the design of a criticality monitoring system to visualize the condition of the rollers of a conveyor belt in real-time. The paper presents the design of a criticality monitoring system to visualize the status of the rollers of a conveyor belt in real time. This system uses a traffic light indicator to visualize the criticality of the equipment. This article defines the steps for the application of this model where a criticality level will be assigned to each roller through a programmable system with values ​​according to the current condition of these elements whose results provide valuable information to optimize maintenance tasks, reduce costs, and improve the availability of conveyor belts. The reports generated by this system make it a valuable tool for managerial management, since its implementation translates into greater safety, optimization of maintenance, extension of the useful life of the equipment, and better operational efficiency, ensuring the reliability and productivity of the industrial operations.
